Performer Shi's view on her choice of singing in the silouette of darkness, is for the listener to focus on the art and beauty of her lyrical voice. Not the look, which in my opinion is just as gorgeous fabulous in her person !!! Seems like a great image gimmic also for the shy fans to fall in love with, not since Prince have I seen some one so down to earth and cool.
