Harper's govt played hardball for years while the devils dust (cocaine,heroine) was rampant even more so now in socially oppressed areas across Canada (eg. Main Hastings, Hochelaga, Jane Finch.)
"Bust for bail" has done nothing but churn a dollar of the profit organisation still running. Closing that tap and changing the plumbing could be complex as it would need total re engineering.
Eventually the theater of this good vs evil, is time and money wasting as innocent lives are affected sometimes fatally. Then there is the notorious 1 percent % aka "Illuminati" that have "shares invested pork bellies, human bellies, frozen products, medicine, firearms, taxes, alcohol, and yes media, just to name just a few. Negotiations without ethical question cannot be avoided of course, which is the ultimate goal for needed peace.

Our youth, millennial, even the children of the 81, and other former gangsters will reflect this new HA image, in their coming of age as they will buy products from 81 in the future and who knows by Grace, adopt spiritual doctrines to the 81 organization (by the way what are the deep ethics of HA these days?)

Justice is trying the aggressive tactic before making it possible to "redeem" the brand name. It has been known that donations of HA have been sent to children hospitals and believe it or not, they could vote in elections.

The real question will be how legal loopholes for the hard core violent principals should be screened and prevented. In Canada social news buzzes of how the government has put its foot up to making photo ops of the oppression they some how support (Mel Lastman).
Montreal hasn't had an elected mayor all summer. Toronto has been classing over their mayor and a whole "gang" of "senators/captains" got rat tat tatatated right out!

We have grown to sympathize since Easy rider and Monterrey, Sons of Anarchy has given the underdog. This is the straight dope growing up. While the argument is futile let us entertain stupid reasons. Would a Hasidic cop be subject to more violent responses? Nuns have lost the habit. It is understandable that some cardinals dress casual. My neighbors were Hindu, Asian, Iranian. Yet as assimilated the ones that went to french school ended up being even more secular, worldly or Canadianism ie: Mtl: played hockey, disco danced, dressed cool, had a great sense of self identity, survived heavy stormed winter seasons , cabine a sucre, shopped on Ste. Catherine, Carnival, St. Jean, drank a great Molson, studied, celebrated to "brain drain" elsewhere.
The Canadian identity is something to be questioned since we got that red leafed flag in 1965. What the confederation was built on and never lest we forget the First Nations.
A big problem is no one really know the history and of course there have been manipulations to keep ratifying. We sold Canada after 67 and 76 and 83 on the word that the immigrants were coming here to get the opportunity as they did all the labor minimal jobs.
Much like Irish and Italians previously have worked their way in engineering to build communities like St Leonard. Which grew. After 76' we couldn't understand why many people were so equally intolerant to just respecting me when I go to a store, as it was common "native courtesy to say "Bonjour! Comma ca va!" Ca va bien! Et vous?" , to a retailer which equally content to respond.
I know there are hard liners like everywhere else. If you really believe coming to Canada just to do absolutely anything and challenge the system flawed policy. No populous yet has admitted to having indifference which is supposedly"colorblind".

Recently on FB I noticed many of my friends of my gap, that I grew up with in Hochelaga have move back to their parents land of origin, or west or south. Italy, Israel, Jamaica, India, Portugal, dont forget the snowbirds of Florida, a favorite land of Quebec retirees forever!
My childhood Vietnamese buddy, Giang, straight off the boat back in 78' excelled at everything, ended up switching to a French high school, then university and now has been married with family for 25 years to a beautiful Italian woman who was also from Montreal. Dude got the best of everything and it worked. Did I mention his family also has a chain of pharmacies in the south shore? He moved to Switzerland 20 years ago to work as an engineer.
My ole school Iranian friend and "break' partner Pedro, joined the army and fought Afghanistan, Rwanda, married a french spouse. He is up n the ranks now as a corporal. His mother cooked saffron based rice and was casually dressed. With an accent she forced out in her effort to pick up English, and French by speaking regularly.
Her boyfriend was also a Muslim, was extremely chill as butter. He cooked mostly. Quiet lamb he was with a smile and gumption to hustle running his restaurant with his wife. In 1988 they had one son together that now in his 30's and is a major bilingual tech geek.

Today since the 93' Liberal flop and then 911, a new divide started in Montreal while it was still work and crime and cultural divides by tradition created that xenophobia between newer generations. As there was no real "Canadian mosaic identity present, due to bickering solely on language.
That is where the cause got burnt and busted, especially with a great lack of updated well structured social integration programs, offered more so in in French only.
There are divides between French speaking and Anglo ethnic groups. Which is even more f up!
Overall I, for the question of what is that dang Canadian Mosaic identity based or reconstructed on for 21 century integration.
For me it was Habs, The unity of the world fair of sixty seven, team work of the Olympic games. The fact that we were first to enjoy the pleasures of watching Billy Vans House of Frankenstein on CTV, or Happy days on ABC, Hockey on CBC, and/or Radio Canada.
Our city vastly compared to New York and recognized on an international scale with Film festivals and ginormous acts right in the valve of Ste. Catherine and St. Denis. Shop on Peel. Chill at Vieux Port, Swim at Ile Ste Helene. La Ronde aka 6 Flags. Montreal was universal!
I had to say the "Our Father" every morn from grade 1 to 5 and then "poof' no more prayer in the CSCM. Catholic School Commission of Montreal as it was not accommodating for other beliefs that chose to integrate in those schools.
So far this is why "secular" Montreal since then has been neutral as few people go to the hundreds of churches now turned into malls.
The cross on the mountain is land property going back 500 years and no body gonna or better not mess wit it.

There will be people that will always have disagreement and no one person should be forced upon another, but the fact could be disappointing when we hear the of how the french have always been herald as the instigators of hemispheric division.

Rightfully so, one could ask to set up a mosque anywhere as well as possibly having a temple right next door. Should a catholic be interested in going to check out the mosque and happens to be a female police officer with bur-qua, we would expect common sense best wear the official uniform cap. How far could one be devoted yet dedicate according to religious permissions. With bur-qua under neath the police cap?
Women of Quebecoise modern families just will not jive with "submission" as their history of rebellion since Joan of Arc. They have been constructive and vocal and active in many riding for over forty years. One thing they are is so open, fair, inter generational and independent, they will be vocal of the right to protest what they understand as submissive to the husband by women and human rights as they have in the past. eg: common law partner, garderie, women health, and right to reproductive choice(Morgantaler), management and plenty plenty education. They make bread and also cook the bacon and are comfortable with sizzle.

Same sex was accepted way before the free international world caught wind and has never made any imposition on any one else choices. Do the need to wear a rainbow colored shirt to always represent? For some it is another can of worms totally if we were to include religion in the picture. Particularly in more traditional ethnic groups, which have right to indifferent but should be tolerant to ones gender choice. That's just how it goes down in Canada.
It has been just accepted that personality and beliefs need not to be blatantly exposed since the right to object is also a freedom of choice. Ethics, everybody feels they got a darn grip on reality. So wrong because like innate beasts, we kill and eat what was living (plant included).
Which is OK also for the chosen. I am just throwing the absurd questions that many in Quebec do not find so absurd. Or just not speaking up, or theater realistic actions in movement. Oh yeah what about the kids? What they say? Protests?
