Props to The West gang with North! Prince William grown up for real real! From the day you registered for a social insurance number, or an email address with one of the landmark titan servers of the era namely Netscape, your electronic information has always been compromised. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Right_to_privacy  I recall in the year 1988 when I first saw electronic mail come to be screened in pale ms dos font running right off some word processor from Lloyds Electronics. A telephone line was needed in order to receive the "buzzwewow" fibre optic sound to fax the visible screen information post scripted on the screen with around 2  to 5 sentences.
Today the confusion most likely started with the eventually "meme" produced Rob "base' Ford video that most likely doesn't exist. This was an undercover reason for the Toronto police to make a bust in a predominately Afro neighbourhood..unlike wire taps of the Serpico era, email and social media has been compromised since its use in university and military. Why not everyday life? Its amazing thought that some folks could be so different as to post themselves even doing the worst crimes on social media. Some blatantly and obviously making the act of the crime way too real for public viewing. Who catches on and possibly get caught by being ratted out or just simple basic police work which entails , yes folks, snooping around looking for clues in conversations electronically. So far it has been amplified to imposed by our own doing. Not like the Internet could ever be free just like a telephone could be at the time. without the possibility of eavesdropping on a call. So what happened when the so called were brazen enough to try to extort the mayor by using the bribe of selling the video to a gossip website? I would think a trace to area, GPS, few knowns, via the FB virtual rolodex, a warrant and voila! A big bust! One month later an american who worked for those that mined the online "brazen" decided to basically rat em out. What concerns me is what would that rat tell reveal others about us?? So in the end its you who decides what you share electronically.
